DNR 990 Whale 2-8-0 'E' Compound Coal Engine

Unidentified. Leading engine of three, on a goods train. The second and third engines are a 'C' or 'C1' 0-8-0 and a '17in Coal' 0-6-0. Streaks of light have spoilt the negative - mainly around the front of the leading engine. Source: LG 17467
